We were running low on water, so a trip to Bornuz Buku was becoming highly desirable. Terry and Fiona had called back to Fethiye, and Mo had arranged to provide supper there for them and for Full Flight if they were there. We got away about 1430, after clearing the bottom of the dinghy of the barnacles and coral worm that had accumulated since my last effort (about 3 weeks previously). Muriatic acid worked wonders. On arrival at Bornuz Buku, the propellor picked something up, and in an attempt to free it by reversing, it seemed to wrap itself even tighter, resulting in no drive but propwalk to starboard. Having dropped the sails, we deployed the jib, but then had to raise the main again as the very light wind was coming out of the bay. Fiona, who was perhaps getting anxious about supper, spotted our manoevres as we raised sail and tacked up the bay, and alerted Jamie on Esper, who volunteered to come out with Tony. Jamie very rapidly removed some polyester sacking, and we were able to berth without further ado. We enjoyed a drink ashore, before Rome 2 and Full Flight came on board for the supper that fortunately Mo had prepared earlier in the day.
The following day we loaded water, revealing that we still have some water leaking from our forward tank. It may still be patchable. Afterwards we decided to leave for some fishing and quiet time. We motored over the the island of Tersane to have a look at the creek on the north west side. It looked quite attractive, but there was a fairly strong SW wind which suggested that it might not be very sheltered. We set sail then, and tacked up the Skopea Limani, taking our sails in to look into 22 Fathom Bay. Once again, this did not look too sheltered, and the western side was very steep to, so we returned to our favourite Wall Bay. We anchored off and took two lines ashore.
The next morning, I went ashore and had a shot at painting the impressive rocky outcrops which form the backdrop to the pine-fringed bay. It was late in the afternoon before I attempted to go fishing, taking the dinghy and trolling across the bay. Unfortunately I had no luck, so we had to rely on Mo's pre-prepared fallback to last night's left overs. We watched one of Bill's films that we now have loaded on a hard drive, My Little Fat Greek Wedding. I was awake again early, and had another abortive trip, venturing out into Fethiye Korfezi near the spot where we caught our last fish. The morning passed with an attempt at painting the Wall of Wall Bay, followed by a haircut. Mo amused herself with Soduku and reading. We aim to set off back to Fethiye by 1430, after updating the web site.

Steve and Nicole reported safe arrival late on Sunday evening, 26th, by which time we were again anchored off Fethiye. The following morning, we caught the Dolmus up to Ovacik, and met up with the family at the open air market near the roundabout to Hisaronou. We walked back up to the villa, and spent the day relaxing around the pool, which was too cold to actually use. Steve was pushed in by Ella for a fleeting moment before he lept back out. Ella enjoyed the 'lilo' which she was able to paddle around using the pool fishing net. After an early meal at a restaurant, we returned to Fuga. After that, Mo became resident Harry minder while I spent the nights on Fuga to ensure that batteries were charged, etc. There were two expeditions to the Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz, where the beach was shallow and safe for the children, and two to Fethiye. One day Steve, Nicole and Ella came on board Fuga for a cup of tea while Mo minded Harry ashore, and then on Friday we took Fuga out to a nearby beach with everyone on board. After a final visit to the bazaar and meal by the public quay, the party returned to complete the packing and await the taxi to the airport.
